Everything old is new again in Waverley with the launch of Fixit Fest, a series of workshops and events to show you how to reuse, repair, and reinvent your old stuff and help our environment too.
Taking place in and around National Recycling Week, Fixit Fest includes four free workshops and the Fix Share Repair Day.
The Fix Share Repair Day will be a fun and relaxed event open to everyone at Bondi Pavilion Courtyard on Saturday 13 November, 11am– 3pm.
Fix Share Repair Day
Listen to live music and enjoy free “nanna and grandpa skills” workshops in knitting, darning, seedsaving, patchwork, green cleaning and chemical free gardening. Reuse and sustainability groups such as The Bower and Seedsavers will be there to answer questions on repair, reuse and reinvention. Melbourne based neighbourhood sharing group The Sharehood is also planning to be there.
Workshops run for a maximum one and a half hours, and it’s first come, first served, so come and connect with like-minded people and learn some fun skills in the process.

The Upscale Your Upholstery workshops held on 30 & 31 October were fabulous. See the great photos here
