Join in and meet new people!

Connecting People to Nature’, the theme for World Environment Day 2017, invites us to get outdoors and into nature, to appreciate its beauty and its importance.
What better way to connect with nature than getting in amongst your local bushland with a dedicated group of bush-caring people.

Randwick Council’s Bushcare groups meet regularly and work closely with Council’s expert horticulturists to help restore the remnant bushland along Randwick’s vast coastline. From Gordons Bay to Long Bay to Malabar Headland, our friendly, dedicated bushcare groups meet to remove weeds, plant indigenous species, install soil erosion measures and share stories of the changing landscape and their love of the natural world.

Here’s the 2017 Bushcare Calendar to see when a group is next in your area. No bookings required. Supervised children are welcome.

For further information please contact Randwick City Council’s Bushcare officer on (02) 9093 6708 or bushcare@randwick.nsw.gov.au
