A Plastic Ocean

When: June 7, 2017

More than 8 million tonnes of plastics are dumped in our oceans every year!

Join us for a screening of the powerful documentary ‘A Plastic Ocean’ to understand the impact that plastic pollution is having on our food chain.

The evening will commence at 6pm with nibbles and an introduction from Take3's founder Tim Silverwood. Tim will talk about what action you can take to stop plastic polluting our waterways.

Attendees will also have the chance to join Council’s new volunteering program, Harbour Care, and meet other active community members, such as the Responsible Runners.

The film screening will begin at 6:30pm, followed by a discussion circle about what local solutions we can implement.
