  • Your sale will now appear on the Garage Sale Trail online Google Map and iPhone / smart phone application for everyone to find.
  • Invite your friends, family, colleagues to your garage sale via Facebook, Twitter, email or go old-school by putting up posters, popping your head over the fence or doing the ring around.
  • Don’t have enough stuff to host your own garage sale? Band together with your neighbours, sports club members, church members, school or other community groups and host a joint garage sale – it’s a great way to raise money for your cause plus it will give you time to get out and look at other garage sales on the day.
  • The Garage Sale Trail is being brought to life through working partnerships with a selection of forward thinking Councils Australia-wide, including Waverley, Randwick and Woollahra.
  • Didn’t sell everything? No problem, contact your local Council to arrange a pick-up or donate goods in good condition to your local Salvation Army, St Vincent de Paul or Brotherhood stall!
  • As a project for the greater good we’re asking all Garage Sale Trail participants to contribute 10% of their pocket money raised to our charity partner, Keep Australia Beautiful.
