Can anyone recommend places near Bondi to buy used furniture?

I need to get a wardrobe and I don't have a car and instead of ordering something from Ikea I would like to get something second hand. It would be even better if it's a place that delivers.

  • There is a small second hand furniture store that has some cool minimalist 50s-60s style stuff at the edge of Bondi on Bondi Rd, near the corner of Denham Street (just up from the Royal hotel but on the other side of the road).

    Also up at Bondi Junction there is the big second hand store near the Bus Depot on Oxford Street.

    Bondi markets occasionally has some stuff but you might like to try the noticeboards around the more backpacker areas for really cheap stuff - the beach end of Hall street for instance - or even check in at the backpacker places. Often people are getting rid of basics cheaply before moving on but you may need to grab a go-get car to move them.
