Can anyone spare some compost? And mulch?

I've just moved buildings in Bondi and my compost bin is not ready to supply my new raised veggie patch with much needed compost. Does anyone have any to spare?

    There is a communal compost bin in Waverley Park near the netball courts that you could take some compost out of. It's an Aerobin so you can take the bottom panel off and scrape it out from there.

    You could also try Permaculture East's community/backyard garden at 241 Bondi Rd. They have a big compost heap out the back and they are there every Saturday 10am-2pm. If you go along then and ask them for some I'm sure they'd give it to you. It's great stuff - I was digging around in it last weekend and it was really rich and healthy.

  • HI, I have some compost you can have- it may need to be broken down a little though (its more like a big worm farm now as so many worms in it!). I'm in Bronte..not sure how long ago you were asking, so I will check here to see if you still keen. You could come at anytime as the bin is around the back...Angela
