Permaculture, an introduction

When: Feb. 16, 2019

A course run over six Saturday afternoons starting 16 February

Good food (maybe home-grown), energy and water efficient homes, good company and a constructive approach to living... these things are the essence of the permaculture approach to life.

At this six-part course, we will learn how to permaculture-ise our lives by taking a journey through the permaculture design system. We'll learn how to retrofit our buildings for energy and resource efficiency with architect Terry Bail and water wise strategies with water consultant John Caley. Alexandra Bastos will takes us through how to 'Produce no Waste'.

We'll explore food and how to produce our own or to buy the good stuff with landscape architect Steve Batley as he takes us around the Permaculture Interpretive Garden at Randwick Community Centre. We'll also learn about the new shared economy — collaborative consumption with Annette Loudon from Sydney LETS (Local Exchange & Trading System)  and how to declutter your life with Cecilia Macauley.
