Catching the sun

Waverley Council is making solar ‘second nature’ on 12 buildings. This includes five recent installations at Margaret Whitlam Centre, Tamarama Kiosk, Mill Hill Early Education Centre, Marks Park Amenities and the Waverley Library.  These systems will produce clean green electricity equivalent to powering 42 NSW homes and cut carbon emissions equivalent to taking 79 cars of the road.

Check and participate in Solar Citizens’s amazing ‘Capture the Sun 2030’ photo competition.  Snap the sun as it rises or sets and post your best shots on Instagram using the hashtag #capturethesun2030. The winner will ride away on a Fonzarelli electric scooter powered by Green Energy!
