Is there a community garden or communal compost bin anywhere around Ashfield NSW?

Looking for somehwere in the Inner West of Sydney to dispose of organic material.

  • Hi Claire,

    There is Eora Community Garden located at 135 Smith st Summer Hill. Working bees are held on the 2nd Sunday and 4th Saturday each month from 9:30 - 11:30am. New members are always welcome. For more info contact Sarah Le 0422904439 or email [email protected]

    Sunday August 11th 2013 is "Build Day' for our new Children's Community Garden at Haberfield Library, 78 Dalhousie St Haberfield. The day commences at 10am. Again, contact [email protected] or call Sarah Le on 0422 904 439 if you'd like to come along and join the fun.

    In the next few months, a larger communal composting facility will be installed at Eora Community Garden at Summer Hill.
