ALDI stores will take small quantities for recycling.
-
Aldi and OfficeWorks recycle them.
-
Battery World takes them as well.
And most Councils do. -
Check out Planet Ark's recyclingnearyou.com.au, pop in your postcode and it'll tell your closest drop-off points.
Just wrote a blog about new stations introduced by City of Sydney Council 2 weeks ago!

Aldi have a battery recycling bin near the checkout. You don't have to go inside.

Hi Ashley, If you are in Waverley Council or happen to be in Bondi Junction, you can drop off your used household batteries at the Customer Service Centre in Spring Street, Bondi Junction. You can also hang on to them until the yearly Chemical Clean Out or E-Waste Collection. Check the Waverley Council website for more details www.waverley.nsw.gov.au
